Two poems

White Torture

Unlike an electrocutor trap that instantly kills
the incandescent bulb welcomes with its warm light
and the bedazzled moth loses all sense of self.

Feminism

While the shepherd ties up the hooves of a suffolk

the insolent son blows to seduce a milkmaid

and were the old man to rival for what lies under her skirt
the unhappy swain swore to strike his sagging scrotum

but then, outshines all potential competition with a panpipe

and unamused, she tosses away the end blown flute.
