"Pillars of Salt"

February 28, 2019

Abandoned and looking back

every puddle is a reservoir

of a remembrance

a legend of metaphors

and information

tales of bones and music

and clouds resembling

someone from past years

and then the rain

refreshing sidewalks

and sides of buildings

people on the move

everyone is a bus ride

from someplace

where intersections collide

with answers and dreams.
